After a lifetime of being overlooked and ignored, Doris (Academy Award winner Sally Field, Norma Rae) finds her world turned upside down by John Fremont (Max Greenfield, Fox’s New Girl), her company’s handsome new art director. A self-help seminar inspires her to take a chance on love and with the guidance of her best friend’s 13-year-old granddaughter, Doris mines the internet for every detail about John. She begins to immerse herself with John and his hipster friends, which creates a rift between Doris and her longtime friends and family, who believe she’s making a fool of herself over a guy half her age. Hello, My Name is Doris is a funny and moving portrait of a woman coming of age later in life by learning to follow her heart for the first time.
