Q&A with actress Alicia Silverstone with fashion designer Christian Siriano

• Alicia Silverstone is a renowned actress, commonly recognized for her generation-defining performance in Clueless as Cher Horowitz. Silverstone can currently be seen in Yorgos Lanthimos’s Bugonia and the upcoming Netflix holiday film A Merry Little Ex-Mas, of which she was also an executive producer. On television, Alicia stars in Acorn TV’s acclaimed series Irish Blood, and will soon begin production for Peacock’s Clueless sequel series, where Alicia will reprise her iconic role as Cher and serve as an executive producer. While best known for her widely celebrated and fan-favorite roles, which have garnered Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, Silverstone also serves as a notable figure in the activism communities, successfully co-founding “My Kind Organics,” the first-ever food-based, organic, non-GMO vegan supplement line and launching two influential novels: ““The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet,” and “The Kind Mama: A Simple Guide to Supercharged Fertility, a Radiant Pregnancy, a Sweeter Birth, and a Healthier, More Beautiful Beginning.”
• Christian Siriano launched his eponymous collection in 2008 following his studies in London under Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Dubbed "the new king of old-school glamour" by Elle and "the next billion-dollar designer" by Yahoo! Style, his designs have appeared on the world's biggest stars and most prestigious red carpets. Christian Siriano is the youngest person to ever appear on the Crain's "40 Under 40" list, and was a member of Forbes' "30 Under 30" in 2015. He was named "Designer of the Year" at the 2016 AAFA American Image Awards and won the Couture For A Cause "Designer of the Decade" award that same year. He co-founded accessories e-commerce retailer "Send the Trend" and served as Chief Curator until its acquisition by QVC.
