Cézanne et Moi traces the lives, careers, and passionate friendship of post-impressionist painter Paul Cézanne (Guillaume Gallienne, Yves Saint Laurent, Marie Antoinette), and novelist Emile Zola (Guillaume Canet, Joyeux Noël, Tell No One). As young men growing up in Aix-en-Provence, Cézanne and Zola overcome differences in class and upbringing through shared artistic passions. Together they leave southern France to pursue fame, glory, and beautiful women in the Paris art scene.
