Call Me by Your Name

Nominated for 4 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role

It’s the summer of 1983 and 17-year-old American Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet) spends his days at his family’s villa, lazily transcribing music and flirting with his friend Marzia (Esther Garrel). Charming doctoral student Oliver (Armie Hammer) arrives for a summer internship with Elio’s father (Michael Stuhlbarg), an eminent professor specializing in Greco-Roman culture. Amidst the sun-drenched, sensual splendor of northern Italy, Elio and Oliver discover the heady beauty of awakening desire over the course of a summer that will alter their lives forever. With inspired direction by Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love, A Bigger Splash), this gorgeously realized coming of age drama is adapted from the novel by André Aciman, with a screenplay by legendary Oscar-nominated filmmaker James Ivory.
