Bridesmaids: 15th Anniversary

15th Anniversary Re-Release

Starring Kristen Wiig as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), on a wild ride down the road to matrimony, Bridesmaids stands as one of the greatest and most enduringly hilarious comedies of the 21st century. Directed by Paul Feig with an Academy Award nominated screenplay from Wiig and co-writer Annie Mumolo, the film also features Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, and Melissa McCarthy (in an Academy Award nominated performance) as the eccentric group of bridesmaids who make up the rest of Lillian’s bridal party.

Celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Bridesmaids with a weekend of laughs and a few extra surprises. Strike a pose with your friends under our custom-made balloon arch upstairs at Take 3 before or after the screenings on 4/18 and 4/19. And if you’re ready to commit to the bit, wear your bridesmaids dress for a free small popcorn.

"In an age of doggedly unambitious comedy, one marvels at the finesse these first-time screenwriters and director Feig bring to marrying raunch, romantic comedy, and the tested but ever-true bond between women."
Kimberley Jones, Austin Chronicle
"It's a movie that succeeds, often beautifully, not by forcing its characters to be as naughty and gross and pathetic as men are. It soars by letting them be as naughty and gross and pathetic as women are. Three cheers for equality."
Mary Elizabeth Williams, Salon

This film is part of the The New Classics series.
