Hind Bensari’s current work-in-progress feature documentary highlights the plight of disabled athletes struggling for rights and recognition in Morocco. In the deprived neighborhoods of Azzedine, Morocco’s most important industrial port, a Seated Shots World Record holder and his trainee Youssef, a mentally disabled aspiring athlete, dedicate themselves to rigorous training in an effort to join in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, with the hope that their participation will bring them respect at home.
