In a poignant reminder of his Sundance Kid half a century ago and based on a true story, Robert Redford stars as Forrest Tucker, who escaped from San Quentin at the age of 70 and went on a string of heists that confounded authorities and enchanted the public. Wrapped up in the pursuit are a detective (Casey Affleck, Manchester by the Sea) who becomes obsessed with Tucker, and a woman (Sissy Spacek, Coal Miner’s Daughter) who loves him in spite of everything.
