Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The fictional woes and daily lives of Dalton and Booth are threaded into the very real, very tragic history of the Manson Family and Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), who just happens to be Dalton’s next-door neighbor. The ninth film from the writer-director is an elegiac and sprawling account of Hollywood at a seminal turning point and a moving tribute to a bygone era.
The JBFC is one of only 60 theaters nationally selected to screen in 35mm.
