Providing a visceral and unflinching look into the lives veterans, Of Men and War’s lens intimately follows the recovery efforts of twelve veterans suffering from PTSD. Director Laurent Bécue-Renard exposes veterans’ experiences in a never- before-seen manner, gaining unprecedented access to their lives at home and intense therapy sessions at an assisted living facility. Unfiltered and emotionally charged, Of Men and War uniquely depicts the aftermath of war through the oft-unseen effects of trauma and the hope found within the refuge of facilities such as The Pathway Home.
