How have film and media portrayals about the radicalization process shaped the conversation around the world? Join us for a unique opportunity to examine this critical topic through discussion and clips from various media and film sources, including Maryam Ebrahimi’s work-in-progress documentary Stronger Than a Bullet, which reveals how Iran’s propaganda machine misused photographer Saeid Sadeghi’s images from the first Gulf War to help recruit a generation of martyrs. Sadeghi’s powerful photographs will be on view upstairs in the Jane Peck Gallery beginning the week of March 14.
