The film that started the Oscilloscope Laboratories journey! Co-founder David Fenkel was an executive at THINKFilm in 2006 when he collaborated with Adam Yauch on the distribution plan for Awesome; I F*ckin’ Shot That!, the Beastie Boys’ incredibly entertaining—and very Beastie Boys—concert film. Captured live on an October night in 2004, the film is an audience-shot document of the Beastie Boys’ takeover of Madison Square Garden. A select group of 50 audience members were given digital cameras for the night with a single instruction: keep rolling at all times. Now, almost 15 years after the film debuted, and nearly a decade since Yauch’s passing, the film still explodes with the one-of-a-kind sonic experience and raw energy that only the Beastie Boys could bring to the stage.
