Remember when you and your friends would get together to listen to a new album front-to-back—without checking email, texting, cooking, checking on the kids, doing your taxes, etc.? JBFC invites you to its first Album Listening Party. Come hear the recently reissued stereo remix of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with your host, Deconstructing The Beatles founder Scott Freiman. Scott will be talking briefly about the differences between the latest remix and prior versions of the album. We’ll then listen to the entire album—from the title track through “A Day In The Life.” Afterwards, Scott will walk through selected outtakes, virtually putting you in the studio with The Beatles.
CultureSonar.com will be giving away prizes, including a Super Deluxe Sgt. Pepper set.
