Written by the very funny Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally…), directed by Herbert Ross (Steel Magnolias), and starring the comedy team of Steve Martin and Rick Moranis, this 1990 film is about an uptight FBI agent and a retired mobster under witness protection who is plunked down in middle-class suburbia. While the two men find some common ground, it’s not easy to keep the bad guy (Martin) on the straight and narrow.
