Apollo 13

30th Anniversary Screening with Director Ron Howard in-person

Both 7:00 pm & 8:30 pm screenings are SOLD OUT. There will be a standby line starting one hour before showtime in person at the box office.

Nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Apollo 13 turns thirty with a special anniversary screening at the Jacob Burns Film Center.

Directed by Oscar winner and JBFC Board Member Ron Howard and produced by Academy Award winner Brian Grazer, Apollo 13 stars two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton, Gary Sinise and Ed Harris in the inspiring and riveting story of the real-life space flight that gripped a nation and changed the world. Presented and restored in 4K.

"This engrossing account of the nation's most perilous moon shot embodies what many people consider to be old-fashioned American virtues in a virtually pristine state."
Todd McCarthy, Variety
"Playing the tough, commanding Jim Lovell is a substantial stretch for Mr. Hanks, but as usual his seeming ingenuousness overshadows all else about the role. There's not a false move to anything he does on screen."
Janet Maslin, New York Times
