Part of Art House Theater Day

Prior to the film, join us for drinks and a costume contest at 8:00 in the Jane Peck Gallery

Film audiences’ introduction to legendary hero Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), Raiders of the Lost Ark is a timeless action adventure film that follows the danger-prone archaeologist/college professor as he races against Nazi forces to track down the Ark of the Covenant. Along the way, Jones enlists the assistance of old flame Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen, Animal House), good friend and man with his ear to the ground Sallah (John Rhys-Davies, The Lord of the Rings trilogy), and academic colleague Dr. Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott, Robin and Marian), to help him track down the ark before it falls into the hands of fellow archaeologist—and Nazi hired gun—Dr. Rene Belloq (Paul Freeman, The Long Good Friday). The brainchild of Hollywood masters George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, Raiders of the Lost Ark is a film that has transcended generations of film fans, and will be a sure delight to see back in theaters. Playing in stunning 4k DCP, the film will look just as amazing on the big screen as it did when it was first released 35 years ago!

In addition to our screening of the popular classic, we’ll have a Raiders costume contest, photo booth, and a pre-screening toast to everyone’s favorite archaeologist!
