Since the loss of his wife, curmudgeonly widower Nat Dayan (Jonathan Pryce, Game of Thrones, Brazil) clings to his work as owner of a Kosher bakery in London’s East End. Understaffed and unsupported by his own children, Nat reluctantly hires an assistant named Ayyash (Jerome Holder, Honeytrap), a Muslim teenager who sells marijuana on the side to help his immigrant mother make ends meet. When Ayyash accidentally drops his stash into the mixing dough, the challah starts flying off the shelves and an unlikely partnership forms between the old Jewish baker and his young Muslim apprentice. The newest feature from John Goldschmidt (She’ll Be Wearing Pink Pyjamas), Dough is a heartwarming story of worlds colliding, overcoming differences, and finding redemption in unexpected places.
