After Spring

Q&A IRC Senior Vice President of US Programs Jennifer Sime moderated by Laura Rossi

With the Syrian conflict now in its seventh year, millions of people continue to be displaced. After Spring is the humanizing story of what happens next. By following two refugee families in transition and aid workers fighting to keep a refugee camp running, viewers will experience what it is like to live in Zaatari, the world’s largest camp for Syrian refugees. This deeply relevant documentary premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and is executive produced by Jon Stewart, who applauds the filmmakers for their “sophistication and artistry” in presenting an in-depth look at the refugee crisis (The Hollywood Reporter). The film will be followed by a Q&A with IRC expert panelist Jennifer Sime.

The Virtual Reality Experience will be open before the screening from 3:00–7:00 in the Jane Peck Gallery.

The film will be followed by a Reception & Virtual Reality Experience in the Jane Peck Gallery.
