Please note that check-in begins at 8:30 pm. We strongly encourage you to arrive at that time to collect your credentials, register for the costume contest, grab a drink, and mentally prepare yourself for a terrifying (and fun!) night at the movies!
Get ready to stay up all night as we present our second annual After Dark Halloween Marathon! Hosted by JBFC Programmer Andrew Jupin, this year’s marathon will feature six films including: Goodnight Mommy, a new DCP of Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead, the return of the We Hate Movies comedy podcast doing a live commentary over the 80s cheese-fest Friday the 13th VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, a Wes Craven tribute screening of Scream, the New Zealand horror comedy Deathgasm, and other surprises to be revealed later! We’ll also have food, drinks, a costume contest, and more activities in the Jane Peck Gallery throughout the night!
Enter the JBFC Costume Contest! Arrive in costume, and have your picture taken by our staff during check-in to enter the contest. Prizes will be awarded throughout the night for Most Movie-Like, Most Creative, and more! (Just make sure your costume isn’t bigger than your movie theater seat.)
