A BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE
Campaign for 21st Century Education
A Green Building
The new Media
and Education Center is being designed and constructed
in ways that promote the health and well-being of the community and
the environment. Through, for example, the careful choice of
materials and efficient designs for heating and water, the building
will promote an environmentally responsible way of life. We
have applied for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
certification and we have set our target at the gold level, the second
highest possible
The environmentally sustainable features designed for the Center
include:
- Geothermal heating and cooling
- Radiant heat
- Natural daylight for the second floor offices
- A green roof infrastructure for insulation and storm water absorption
- Recycled building materials
Located across the street from the Metro-North
train station, the Media and Education Center will be easily accessible
by public transportation.

The Media and Education Center is designed by Kaeyer, Garment & Davidson Architects & Engineers, PC of Mount Kisco, NY.
