JBFC Kids

JBFC Kids, our program for younger students and their families, offers both film viewing and media-making experiences.

JBFC Kids programming introduces young audiences to film by celebrating cherished stories both new and old, revisiting those that are overlooked, and highlighting cultures from around the world. It is our mission to cultivate a new generation of cinema lovers who appreciate, engage, and learn through facilitated talkbacks and a sense of community.

JBFC Kids events offer a welcoming space for young people and their families to experiment, play, and learn filmmaking techniques and concepts through hands-on activities. These media-making experiences are hosted on the JBFC campus and are free for the public.

Visit our JBFC Kids series page for upcoming screenings and events.
