“I enjoyed that movie or documentary. It inspired me to do more tap dancing. I am 13 years old. When I heard that they started at 11 years I thought why didn’t I start 2 years ago. If I follow their footsteps I will be a 93-year-old woman who teaches tap dancing. It doesn’t have to actually be teaching tap dancing but teaching something I know that I am good at. THANK YOU!” - Celeste Perez, 13 years old of Youth Theater Interactions (YTI) after Been Rich All My Life

"I enjoyed this film immensely. It allowed me to appreciate real hip-hop music while not listening with a deaf ear to the artist's lyrics and content. It also made me aware of the large amounts of sexually explicit lyrics and those lyrics impact on women. I really hope for this film to reach millions of hip-hop devouts everywhere so they can be as enlightened as I was during that film. Thanks Byron Hurt for the great film!!"
-Dahcia Lyons, age 15 from YTI for Beyond Beats & Rhymes

“I can’t thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of something mature, entertaining, and positive.” – Allen Kenner of the Delancey Street Foundation
